Do you still remember our last review about BC’s Cone at Pantai Indah Kapuk area (PIK), North Jakarta?? BC’s Cone recently has renovated their PIK outlet with new ambiance and lots of new dishes.

The newly renovated ambiance definitely has more fresh and fun atmosphere with combination of artsy wooden panel, grass floor and wall. Other than the 1st outlet in PIK, now you can also find BC’s Cone in Palembang since they have recently opened an outlet at Palembang Icon Mall 3rd floor.

Besides the ambiance, BC’s Cone has also launched series of new menu from the new sweet dessert creations, savory snack and heavy meal, now they also serve coffee. Let’s see the new items.

BC’s Cone now has six flavors of soft serve ice cream Black Cheesecake, Thai Milk Coffee, Matcha Soy, French Earl Grey, Taro and Cream Soda, if you want to try all of them, the colorful tower of soft serve ice cream served on top of with waffle bowl could be the perfect option as you can try a bit of everything. Considering the huge portion, AnakJajan would highly recommend this dessert for sharing.

Artsy Bowl IDR 40k
Soft serve ice cream with with three toppings of your choice served on top of waffle bowl, you can also add cotton candy to your artsy bowl for IDR 5k. There are 4 flavors of waffle bowl that you can choose Mango, Red Velvet, Greentea or Charcoal, you can simply combine all of your favorite flavors into one bowl of dessert. As for the toppings there are plenty of selections from crunchy toppings, fruits and sauce.
AnakJajan had Thai Milk Coffee soft ice cream with Mango, Granola, Nutella Crunch sauce and red velvet waffle bowl. Major love for the Thai Milk Coffee ice cream, it has just the right amount of sweetness, smoothness, creaminess and coffee taste.

Buttermilk waffle with ice cream and sauce. The waffle was served with strawberry, fruity pebbles, granola, caramel sauce and ice cream, as for the ice cream AnakJajan had the new and popular Black Cheesecake ice cream. The waffle has a very crunchy texture on the outside while dense on the inside making it very suitable for ice cream.

French fries and ice cream, have you ever tried to combine these two things? Well, you MUST! The salty french fries are very suitable with creamy soft serve ice cream and now it’s available in BC’s Cone.
The fries were deep fried nicely until golden, seasoned generously with the aromatic truffle oil and served with French Earl Grey soft ice cream, so sooooo good, it was our top favorite menu at BC’sCone. MUST TRY!

BC’s Cone has started to serve coffee now and they also offer Cold Brew Coffee, Black and Milky based cold brew. Personally AnakJajan prefer the black one, it tasted pretty decent.

A killer combination between bold espresso with creamy smooth soft serve ice cream, and the use of French Earl Grey soft ice cream was just perfect! The delightful aroma of French Earl Grey goes really well with the roasted aroma from the coffee, Mr. Jajan enjoyed it so much.

Cheezy Fries IDR 35k
French fries with beef bacon and special cheese sauce, this one was also very scrumptious, the cheese sauce complemented the fries very well with its creamy sweet yet savory taste. Additional truffle oil for IDR 5k is highly recommended for extra pleasure.

Salted Egg Chicken IDR 45k
Deep fried chicken with salted egg and sunny-side-up egg served over rice or noodle. For this dish, AnakJajan opted for rice, chicken was deep fried nicely until golden and seasoned thoroughly with salted egg seasoning. The salted egg seasoning was sooo good, rich in salted egg flavor but not too salty and very aromatic thanks for use of curry leaves. Since we were pretty full already, we promised ourselves to try just one spoonful only, but in the end we finished the whole portion because it was too good not to be eaten, oppsieee 🙂

Crispy Pork Belly Sambal Matah IDR 55k
One word, PORKGASM!!! Crispy pork topped with Balinese sambal matah served over rice or noodle. Specially for this one, AnakJajan opted for noodle, the pork belly was just PURRRRRFECT! It was well seasoned and tender with crispy skin and paired perfectly with the spicy savory black squid ink noodle. Fyi, the spiciness level is adjustable according to your taste.

Overall in our opinion, BC’s Cone is getting better and better in term of the taste of their food, we left BC’s Cone with happy tummies and our cravings both for sweet and savory food were fulfilled. Two thumbs up for BC’s Cone! Let’s Jajan!!
